In keeping with Lisa’s vision to help those less fortunate, the foundation has built an orphanage, Hogar de Amor (Home of Love) in Honduras. The 10,000 square ft. facility, just outside the city of La Ceiba, Honduras, will give children in one of the most underdeveloped regions in the country access to basic health, education, literacy, and self-awareness programs.

Hogar de Amor will offer a loving, family environment for children who have fallen victim to abuse and abandonment. Our orphanage will also provide educational support, health programs, and other events and activities to help move children from despair to self-sufficiency. Hogar de Amor will also incorporate artistic expression into programming development. In 2007 we plan to have our first group of children in our center. We are partnering with Helping Honduras Kids (HHK), an organization that has many years of experience in assisting orphans.
